I've just gotten used to Willow as a name. I always liked the sound of it, but "weeping willow" always prevented me. Happily, I'm over that adn am free to love it on its own.
That said, Willow does feel more trendy than Willa. Willa sounds more like a grown woman so that's what I would be inclined to use. I know a woman who named her dd Willa Rosemary. :-)
