I love the nickname Ellie, but I'd use the spelling Elisabeth. I can really see myself calling after a little Ellie. :)

I like Eliza the best. Ellie and Beth are nice too. I used to not care for Bette, but I've warmed up to it.

Of the ones you listed, I like Eliza and Ellie, but my favorite is Elsa or Elsie.

I like these: Eliza (but prefer it on its own,) Betty, and Beth. I also like Libby and Elsa (but prefer Elsa on its own.)

Bette. It's retro, but it has an edge.

I think Bess is my favorite...but I also especially like Eliza, Lizzy, Libby, Lisbet, Lilibet, Bessie, Bet, Bets, and Betsy.

Right now, I'd have to say Betty. It has a kind of retro charm and sweetness to it that I find endearing. Ellie is my second favorite because it's such a soft and pretty name, though it's rather trendy. Eliza is also cool in a Victorian kind of way, though I don't like it as much as I used to. Bette's okay, but I really don't like Beth. It's one of my least favorite names.

I like Eliza, but I prefer it on its own, because for me they are almost like two seperate names - Elizabeth is "uh-LIZ-abeth" and Eliza is "ee-LYE-zah". I guess if I was to actually name a child Elizabeth, I'd probably call her Lizzie or Beth. It's the most natural.

Out of those options, I think Beth. Which is a very recent development. Before that I would've said Lizzie, easily.
