Re: Evelyn for a boy
Evelyn Balthazar is fantastic, and I quite like it with most of the others, too. It is much cooler and quirkier as a male name, somehow, but I vaguely remember reading that even back when Evelyn Waugh was first published, the Times called him 'Miss Waugh', and now it seems to be entirely female. Although I did find one recent birth record here for an Evelyn Miguel! - so maybe not quite.Evelyn Arthur - Evelyn Waugh in reverse
Evelyn George
Evelyn Oswald
Evelyn Edgar
Evelyn Bertram
Evelyn Montgomery
Evelyn Stanley
Evelyn Winstoneta: Evelyn Francis. Totally GP but I like it anyway.

I want to like Evelyn Francis, but I can't because Evelyn and FrancesFrancis are the names we'd use to honor each of my grandmothers... so it's like my grandmother's named combined and I can't make it feel masculine!I checked, and in 2009 there were less than 5 boys born named Evelyn in the US because it's not listed.
