Celestine
I happen to love the name Celestine. I think it's beautiful. Beyonce's mother is really named this, but she goes by Tina. While I don't like Tina, I think it sounds better as a nickname for something unusual. What do you think of the name Celestine? How about Tina as a nickname for Celestine?

Celestine is a beautiful name. I don't really care for Tina, but it works as a nickname for Celestine. It seems more fitting as a nickname for Celestina though. I prefer Celeste as a nickname for Celestine and Celestina. I used to know a Celestina who went by Celeste most of the time.

I like it, too. And Tina works fine, but I really like just "Cel."

I love Celestine, but I really don't like Tina as a nickname for it. I don't know what I'd use as a nickname myself (Celeste, probably), but such a striking name needs an equally striking nickname, if you ask me, and Tina really isn't very striking.

I love it too! I wouldn't shorten it to Tina, for sure. Maybe Lessa?

Celestine is really beautiful, but I prefer Celie or Stina to Tina.

I like Celestine. I think I like it more than Celeste actually. I don't like Tina as a nickname for it though.

My husband's grandmother was named Celestine. She went by the nickname "Celly" or more commonly "Sally". I don't care for Tina as a nickname for it, just simply because I never liked the name Tina. I think Celestine is a very pretty name.
