I can't get behind Norman - it just makes me think of a middle aged man with shorts pulled up to his sagging chest shouting at cars from his porch. Or something.
Having said that, I'd rather see a Norman in the Birth Announcements over Connor, Dylan, Aiden, Jacob or something similar.
Norma is just fabulous. She's sweet and strong. I'd want a Norma Jean so bad if it weren't for the Monroe association (hard to shake).
