Amazing

I was just reading a book called "Consort Queens," about medieval queens of England. One of them was from Spain (I can't recall if it was Navarre or Catalan or Aragon) and she had a sister named Sanchia! I fell in love with the name and made a mental note to bring it up here, but I forgot.
I bet we were reading the same book. :-D
Anyway, Sanchia is a great find. It's exotic and familiar at the same time. It's a name I love to say out loud. Very beautiful.

Wow! We might have! The book doesn't ring any bells but it has been a long time since I read it.
What a great description of Sanchia. It really is exotic and familiar.

It's a new book, "Queens Consort," by Lisa Hilton, so it probably isn't the same one. :-( But the good news is you have a new book that might interest you. It's a really easy read, except I kept confusing who was married to whom. But it was still fun.
