Not crazy about either, but they're not horrible. I'd prn. Rayen as RAY-in, but I have no idea if that's correct. It makes me think of rayon. :b

Neither of them are my style but I prefer Rayen pronounced RAY-en.

Nerys is quite pretty, I've never heard it before but I like the sound of it. Rayen is nms, reminds me of Ryan.

I don't relaly like either. They both give off a poorly-conceived-fantasy-novel vibe to me. While I'd be more than willing to name children after book characters, that's not an angle I'm interested in exploring! :D

I would pronunce Rayen first as RAY-yen, and then as RAH-yen (which turns into RYE-yen in my accent--rather like Ryan). On first sight, I would say Nerys as NAIR-ihs.
