Nicknames as names
While I don't usually like nicknames as full names, there are a few exceptions. I could use some opinions...
What's your opinion on using the following as full names? What middle names would you pair them with? (ETA, WDYT of these names in general?)
Annie
Jessie
Carrie
If you were going to use these names as nicknames, what full name would you use to get the nickname? And what middle name would you pair that with?

I don't care for them, it's seems very childish, like it won't age well, though nicknames are very popular in places like England.
Annie - originally a nn for Anne, could also be used for Annette, Anneliese, Annika, Ainsley, etc.
Jessie - originally a nn for Jean, could also be used for Jessica
Carrie - originally a nn for Caroline, could also be used for Carla, Carina, Carlotta, Carmela, Carys, etc.

I think all three of those names can stand as full names. It wouldn't bother me at all to use them as such. Annie and Jessie I like a lot, but Carrie is personally nms.
I think the following combos would work well:
Annie Rose / Annie Mae / Annie Jemima / Annie Louisa / Annie Elizabeth / Annie Charlotte / Annie Evelyn / Annie Sabrina / Annie Violet / Annie Guinevere / Annie Michaela / Annie Katherine
Jessie Emmeline / Jessie Ruth / Jessie Tabitha / Jessie Annabelle / Jessie Freya / Jessie Lila / Jessie Ava / Jessie Clara / Jessie Veronica / Jessie Belle / Jessie Natalia / Jessie Matilda
Carrie Vanessa / Carrie Tabitha / Carrie Maya / Carrie Jane / Carrie Isabelle / Carrie Abigail / Carrie Lillian / Carrie Samantha / Carrie Hazel / Carrie Alexandra / Carrie Faye / Carrie Joy
If I was going to use the names as nn's for longer names, then I'd probably go with Annabelle, Jessica and Caroline.

I think I would go with Anthea, Angela or Antonia for an Annie. (Anthea Scarlett, Angela Rosamund / Angela Mary, Antonia Colette / Antonia Michele, maybe.) For Jessie I would go with Jessamine (Jessamine Laure). For Carrie probably Carol (Carol Antonia / Carol Antoinette?).
I don't care for Jessie as a full name, but I like Annie and Carrie. Annie reminds me of Annie Oakley, which is great-I named one of my parakeets Oakley after her. Carrie reminds me of Caroline in the City, which is weird because I've never actually watched the show.
Annie Bernadette
Annie Emmeline
Annie Lenore
Annie Mathilde
Annie Isabelle
Annie Margaret
Annie Solveig
Annie Frederique
Annie Raphaelle

I'm not good at thinking of combos, but I'll do the other parts:
Annie: I can see how it could work as a full name. If it is going to be used as a nickname, though, I'd rather not have it be for Anne/Ann or Anna, as they're short enough as it is. Maybe Anastasia, Annabel / Annabelle / Annabella, Annmarie / Annemarie / Annamaria, or something longer and/or more formal like those names.
Jessie: I see this as totally feminine, even though it can be a variation on Jesse as a masculine full name (I much prefer Jesse). It's also too nickname-y as a full name for a girl. Jessica or a variation of that is the most common full form, but Jessamine is good (especially as it's less common).
Carrie: I'd forgotten that this was "supposed" to be a nickname, honestly. I have absolutely no problem with it as a full given name. It also works as a nickname for Caroline or a variation of that, and there might be some others.
Edit: typo

I think they are fine as full names.
Full names for these:
Anna
Jessamine
Carina
My opinion on these in general:
The only one I like is Annie. Jesse is ok but doesn't do much for me. I hate Carrie and pretty much any variation of it.
Combos:
Annie Catherine / Anna Catherine
Annie Kate / Anna Kate
Annie Caroline / Anna Caroline
Annie Claire / Anna Claire
Annie Charlotte / Anna Charlotte
Annie Elisabeth / Anna Elisabeth
Annie Margaret / Anna Margaret
Annie Grace / Anna Grace
My fav Anna combos:
Anna Valentina
Anna Sofia
Anna Rosalie
Anna Francesca
Anna Caterina

I only like Annie - I get this vintage vibe from it which I love. Jessie is to modern and cutesy, same with Carrie. I'm not really a fan of nn as full names, unless they're absolutely gorgeous imo.
As for what I would use as full names:
Annie - Anne is lovely.
Jessie - hate all forms of this name
Carrie - Caroline I guess. But again, not a huge fan of it.

Generally I prefer nicknames as nicknames. Occasionally there is a nickname that I like far better than any of its full names, but for me that's a reason not to use it (Theo is an example). Jessie is also one of those. I would use Jessica, Jessenia, or Jessamine, or maybe even Justine, because I feel like it should have a full name, but I don't like any of those as much as just Jessie.
I love Annie as a nickname, but there are SO many possibilities for full names that one shouldn't have a problem finding one. There's no need to stick with the traditional Anne unless you love it. My pastor is Andrea "Annie." I am fond of Antigone and Andromeda with Annie as a nickname - it's a nice nickname for some awesome full names. I think if I were to use Annie as a nickname, it would be for Antigone or Anneliese.
If you were using Carrie as a full name, I'd spell it differently - Kerry or Cary or even Keri. I don't like Kari/Cari because they could be pronounced car-ee rather than care-ee. Carrie really looks like it should be short for Caroline or something, and I don't like it as a given name.

I like very few nicknames as full names, and the ones I do like, the majority of people wouldn't realize they were originally nicknames because they don't end with the "ee" sound. Like Robin or Leo for example. Annie, Jessie, and Carrie are all too nicknamey for me.
For Annie I'd use Anna, Andrea, Annabel, or any -ana name like Liana or Solana.
For Jessie I'd use Jessamine.
For Carrie I'd use Carmen, Caroline, or Carina.
