It's a sweet little name and I like it, but it's a bit close to loony.

It makes me think of the Lummi ("LUM-ee") Indian Tribe, here in the Pacific Northwest (U.S.). That's not a bad reference. Just a different feeling than Lumi / snow.

Is it "LOO-mee" or "LUM-ee?" If the former, then I can get behind it, especially with a Scandinavian surname. But if it's the latter, then I don't care for the sound of it as a name. It would rhyme with tummy.

I think it's a gorgeous name. I love snow names.

Lumi to me sounds too close to "loony" but it is a pretty name.
