Rose vs. Rosa
I'm liking both at the moment, so I'm wondering which y'all prefer. Rose is in the top 100, where Rosa isn't, so I'm leaning towards Rosa. WDYT?

Rose is one of those names that I should like, but I never have. It has never grown on me. I do love Rosa though.

I prefer Rose.

I like both, but still prefer Rose. Rose is very popular as a mn, but for a fn I think it would be lovely.

Rosa has grown on me these days, but I still definitely prefer Rose. It's so sweet, simple, and elegant all at once.

Rosa...I think it's so pretty and I like that it is Spanish in origin. Rose just seems a little boring to me and overused (especially as a middle name!) :S

I love Rosa! It just has something extra to it rather than just Rose which I find too short/simple for a first name but it is also too overused as a middle name. Last year I chose my little sister's middle name and I picked Rosa.

Rose for me.As I have an Hispanic background, I know/know of lots of women/girls called Rosa, so Rose is more refreshing to my ears.

I think I prefer Rose, but both are lovely and would make fantastic choices!

I think I prefer Rose, but Rosa is undeniably lovely (and inexcusably unappreciated).

I've always dislike Rose, Rosa's marginally better.

I've preferred Rosa over Rose for as long as I can remember, even way before I had ever been to Spain or spoken a word of Spanish.
I think Rosa is lovely!

This is a tough contest. While i prefer Rose, Rosa brings to mind Rosa Parks, which is a good thing.I'll go with Rose, based on preferance alone.

Rosa, for the same reason that you said, it has a fresh feminine sound to it

I have to give the nod to Rosa, just because it isn't as popular as Rose. I don't know why, either. It's the only time that I can think where the one syllable variant is doing better than a two syllable one. (Well, maybe Jade / Jada.)But Rose has one great advantage. Being one syllable, you can have so much more fun with a long-ish mn. Tough call.

Rosa, today. I think Rosa is a bit more vibrant than Rose.
