Rodney
How would you describe the name Rodney? I can see many interpretations of the name and I'm curious how everyone else feels. Thanks!

Highly macho first syllable, really feeble ending. Not a favourite, perhaps for that reason.
Yes, I like your explanation. It make alot of sense. Thanks.
I think of the movie the Birdcage when Nathan Lane says "I can't tell you how many maids we've been through. Bruno, Rodney..."
So, it can be said that the impression I get is that of Nathan Lane's houseboy.

It makes me think of the character in Only Fools and Horses. It feels dated and frumpy.
I see it as dim-witted and bumbling, but kindly. So pretty Dangerfield-esque, but not perverted. It also has a bit of a pretentious air to it - you just know a kid named Rodney is mommy's favourite darling.
For some reason all those things makes me really like it.
