Eliana
I met a little girl at a little party today named Ellie. When she and her mom went to leave, she said Eliana. I thought it was really pretty, just trying to get used to the way it looks...

Eliana is a beautiful name.
Eliana has been my favorite girl's name for a long, long time. It just rolls off the tongue and sounds sweet and feminine, and yet not over-the-top frilly. I don't like the nickname Ellie for it, though. If I were to get to use Eliana for a daughter, she would be called by her full name.
I think Eliana is very pretty! I also think using Ellie as a nicknam for it is sad, as I don't find Ellie nice at all.
Chloe Eliana feels like two very different styles to me.
Gwyneth Eliana too. I don't really like Gwyneth or Eleanor, but Gwyneth Eleanor is better than Gwyneth Eliana.

I'm not a fan at all. It just annoys me, and has little oomph to it.
Eleanor or Elizabeth are worlds better for Ellie.

I find it whiny and weightless -- I much prefer Elaine.
I like Eliza better. Or shold just say not like Eliana very much:(
Eliza is nice. :)
I like it. I also like Elia on a girl.
I think this is more or less the worst name ever. There's nothing about it that ties it down, it is a long boring string of substanceless syllables. It is like a name simply designed to make everyone think it's the most beautiful name ever. It's like a photoshopped magazine cover. It is completely vacuous. Nothing is good about it. I would rather name my daughter a long list of things than Eliana.

Wow! I had no idea there would be a response like this. Interesting! Thanks.
I quite like it. I considered it for my third child. It fitted my criteria- Italian, not popular, soft and feminine sounding. But I had a boy so.....lol.
I wouldn't spell it any other way. I think any other spellings would verge on looking to creative, which I really hate. Ellyana Elyanah Elianah etc.
I really don't like the name Chloe and I don't think it fits to well with Eliana.
I'm not sure why it's showing up as a spelling mistake, that is the correct spelling and the name is in the database...so??? Not sure.
NN that might work:
Elle
Ellie
Liana
Ana
Lia

It's leaning toward popular-style names, but it's not popular itself
Not in my opinion!
Eh, ok, but I don't really like it. It's too princessy.
Gwyneth Eliana is good, but Gwyneth Eleanor is better!
Because it feels like it :P

It's not the site, it's your browser, and browsers are really dumb about spelling. For instance, it is counting vomitous as a spelling mistake for me.

Interesting, thank you!
I hope my response was light hearted enough not to cause offense...
