I'm not so keen on it, it makes me think of beau as in suitor. But it's not horrible either.

cool. I like this name too even though I don't think I would personally use it. Would be happy to see someone else make use of this name though!

I think it's a good nickname (though I don't know for what . . . Bartholomew? Ooooh actually I really like that!) However, it means "boyfriend" or "lover" so I find it sort of silly as a full name. It definitely reminds me of a down-home leatherman's jacket kind of guy, but somehow not in a bad way which is odd because I generally don't get along with those type of people.

I like Beau; it's short and sweet. Very cool that it's a family name for you!

I like the way Beau looks written out, and I like the full name that it's traditionally a nickname for, Beauregard. I just hate the way that Beau sounds. BO. Eeew.
