Oh, now that I see it's not an "ethnic" name, I think it's VERY, VERY BAD. Do these people even realize what kind of horrible teasing this kid is going to have to endure in a few years??

I know a girl called Deep. She's from Singapore. On her it's fine, but on an English kid it's kind of weird.

What ethnicity was the child? It might be Indian or something in which case it probably doesn't mean deep as in the deep blue sea.

Me too. I've also heard of Mandeep, Deepak, Deepali, and Deepal but not just Deep. I dislike how they arranged the names into a cheesy nature theme. I personally don't care for the name Deep.

Deep seems a bit odd to me but there are a lot worse names out there. It could have been a nn. Mum to Hayley Anne
