A man I know called Rowan married a Nina (I think. She's an ex) and taught a very excellent Ronan, which became his first son's name. I like it too, though I think I prefer Rowan because of the tree! Which is unusual for me, let me tell you.

I love it and would use it. I have an ongoing battle between Ronan, Roran, and Rohan. Right now Roran is winning because Ronan is starting to get popular (noooo...) I like Ronan Charles, Ronan Oliver, and Ronan Gabriel. I think I have all three of those combos on my own list actually :P Ronan Gabriel is my favorite/would totally use on a kid/etc of those combos.

I love Ronan. It's so rugged.

Ronan Matteo came to mind as soon as I saw the title of your thread. Ronan Matthias could work as well.

Ronan has grown on me over the past month or so. I still ultimately prefer Rowan, as far as similar sounding names go, but I like it better than Roman, at least.

I like it. It's not one of my favorites, but it's still a good name.
