I like the name Anna. I don't think it's boring at all. I think it's a lovely name.
I much prefer Anna to Ana. Anna just looks better to me. Plus, it's a palindrome, and those are always neat.
I only know one Anna. I met her last year.
I would use Anna for the reasons above.
