Tasnim
I was talking with a girl named Tasnim today. I'd never heard the name before, but I liked the sound, and the meaning is quite beautiful, too. She goes by the nn Taz (or possibly Tas, I'm not sure). I thought it sounded rather harsh, I'm not much of a fan. It just made me think of Tasmanian devils. WDYT?

I like it. :-DI might spell it Tasneem, just because Tasnim does look awfully similar to Tamsin.

I'm used to seeing it written as Tasneem; it's pretty popular in the Muslim community here. Not bad, not good, just there.

I don't know, it sounds like a birth control pill to me.

Hm. I like it, but I get confused reading it because it looks like Tamsin with the letters switched.

Interesting. I don't really like it either. It also reminds me of Tasmanian devils.I like Tamsin though.

A friend of mine had a baby sister a week or two ago, and the parents were talking about Hiba or Tasnim. While I think Tasnim is okay, its still not a favorite. I will have to find out tomorrow if the parents have decided the name for their little girl...

I have to struggle really hard not to say Tamsin. It's a neat name, but not one I'm particularly fond of. Tamsin is more my style.
