It's okay. It's not my style - seems sort of antique and doughy, like Clara and Mabel and Clementine, to me - but I have met a little girl aged three named Matilda (she was from Europe), who wore the name easily and prettily. It's dignified without being stuckup, and I like that about it, even though I don't like the way the first syllable comes out mutt in my accent.I think Mattie is the best nickname too. I like all your combos except the one with Autumn, but I guess with some surnames it could sound nice.
