I've liked Matilda ever since I read the book, too. It's a warm and cozy kind of name. Tilly and Maudie are my favourite nicknames.
From your combos, I like Matilda Erin best.
Here are a few more suggestions:
Matilda Ivy
Matilda Violet
Matilda Clover
Matilda Rosemary
Hmm. For some reason I keep wanting to pair it with a plant-related MN.
Matilda Frances
Matilda Jane
Matilda Eve
Matilda Verity
Matilda Wren
Matilda Belle
Matilda Lucy

Thanks for your suggestions!
Of the ones you posted I like:
Matilda Ivy - I love the sound of this for some reason.
Matilda Violet
Matilda Rosemary - I like the flow of it and it's similar to Rose which I like. I know Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams named their daughter Matilda Rose and I always loved the sond of it but don't wanna rip off their combo. Plant names do work well Matilda though, you're right. Matilda Rosalie is nice too. But I also do like...
