Theodora is so grand-dame and studious. I love it!

I like it a lot too, and Thea is the best nickname imo.

Not crazy about the "dora" part. I prefer Theodosia. But the nickname Thea is nice, better than Theo. (When I went to type "Theo", I initially typed Tehoo, and then I started laughing at the thought of Tehoo as a nickname.)

I quite like this name. I like it's male counterpart, Theodore, as well (although I could not use it, as I think of the Chipmunks). I would totally use Theodora. And Thea is a cute nn. Funny how one letter makes all the difference (consider the comment someone made about the model friend that got called TheO).

I'm with you totally! Awesome choice.

I used to dislike it but it's grown on me, especially since I made a friend by this name. Thea's cute. Dora's also an option.

I know one! She comes from a very devout Christian family, which she's OK with, but she really dislikes her name. She goes by Theo, which is hilarious since she's very beautiful (used to do modelling) and extremely feminine. Only her father calls her Theodora!
