I think it's great as a MN, but would not work well as a FN in an English-speaking country. It would be like naming your girl "loose".

A friend was going to name their baby Eva Luz if it had been a girl. So pretty.

I don't like how it looks, and it sounds too much like "lose" and "loose" for my tastes.

I don't care for it. I'm learning Spanish, and all I can think of is the word. It also sounds too much like the English word loose. I much prefer Lux.

I knew a woman once by the name of Ana Luz and while I can't say it's my style, I think it works as a mn. It's just not a very attractive fn, imo.

It's kind of cool. It reminds me of Lux..

it seems incomplete to me, maybe as a nickname
