nickname for Jonathan
Hi, my baby's name is JONATHAN. We live in a latin country. I hadn't anticipated he would get nicknamed "Jonny" which is pronounced "Joeny" here. I absolutely hate it. I want to find a cool unique nickname for him like "Nico" for Nicolas. I've searched the web and haven't found anything I like. I need help from any of you out there that are good at making up new names! The nickname needs to be short...one or two syllables. It needs to sound somewhat like Jonathan. I do not like any of the typical ones like Jonno, Nathan etc. Any suggestions, please! Thanks

I have a friend whose baby is named Jonathan and whom they call Jack.
I used to not like that, but it might be better than "Joeny."How about Jay?
Or use his first two initials-- it seems very common to do with J- names.
