Gertrude is a name that's been growing on me quite a bit over the past few months. I think it's strong, dashing, literary, a little aristocratic and feminine in a slightly tomboyish way. And I'd be way too craven to actually use it on a child in this day and age. Maybe the world's just not ready for a return of the Gertrudes.
