Inez

I knew an Inez once and she used your pronunciation! She was a perfectly bland, pleasant person and a good friend of my MIL. I don't much enjoy that AI sound, but it's not the total pits. In fact, since Spanish hardly happens where I live, yours is the pronunciation I'd expect folks here to use.
This is my day. I'll have to run out and buy a lotto ticket. Frederica and Inez both the subjects of threads? Yessirree.
I pronounce Inez as "ee-NEZ" which isn't authentic, but not as awkward as "eye-NEZ." Could I talk you into the "ee-NEZ" pronunciation? Oh, heck. I'll take elegant Inez any way that I can get her. I think of Inez Mulholland, the American suffragette, labor lawyer and war correspondent. Quite a gal.
My combos are Francisca Inez / Ines and Vera Inez.

You want me to prn it ee-NEZ? NEVER! :p The long I sound is half what I love about the name. EE would make the name too pretty, if you know what I mean. I might be persuaded to like ih-NEZ, though, just because I also like the short I sound.
