Twin Sets
Ok the twin post below got my thinking about twins that I know.
Post opinions or names of twins you know.
There were a lot of twins in my high school so most of these were born early-mid 80s. Jessica & Jeremy
Mark & Thomas "Tom"
John & Jason
Samantha & Erin
Rebecca "Becky" & Emily
Brandon & Jeffery "Jeff"
Colleen & Michelle
Colton & Kyle
Jamie & JodieMy favorite set is Rebecca & Emily because both are classic, soft, feminine, pretty names but they aren't matchy or themey.

Angharad & Megan, Julian & Justin and Emma & Lydia are the only ones I know. Julian and Justin used to confuse me all the time, even though they're not identical. :)

I like Emma & Lydia.

Patrick C. and Timothy C. - they and their older brother, Gregory C., all have the same middle name...but I won't post it because I'm pretty sure it's a family name. Anyway, this is probably my favorite set. They were born into an Irish Catholic family, so they're all named after saints.
Chelsea Ruth and Courtney Amber
Erica and Brooke
Eleanore "Ellie" and Marcus "Mark"

I don't really like the name Marcus but Ellie & Mark are cute. Chelsea Ruth and Courtney Amber - this one is funny to me bc the middle names are soo different. Ruth is old fashioned, stern librarian and Amber is young & kind of trashy.

You have some interesting ones. G/G:
Adriana & Nicolette - these names aren't my favorites but I think they go well together. Very frilly & luxerious
Madison & Melissa- interesting bc Madison is such a trendy 90's/00's name and Melissa was dated by then bc it was so popular in the 70's/80s
Viktoria & Kristina - prefer Victoria but nice strong pairing. Maybe bc they used the K in one name they felt they had to use it in the other?
Kate & Tess - prefer these as nicknames but they go great togetherTriplets:
Sabrina, Samantha, & Mercedes - I always feel bad when there seems a theme or similarity between 2 but not the third. Poor Mercedes is left out with no name starting with S or even ending with A.

Viktoria & Kristina were adopted from Russia when they were like 6. So, Vika's spelling just stayed the same.Mercedes goes by Sadie. Sabrina goes by Brina. Samantha goes by Sam.Kate & Tess are named after two Audrey Hepburn characters. Their mom loves Audrey Hepburn movies.

I don't usually like Gracie but it makes quite a good set with Gavin.
Joyce and Loyce is hilarious. Poor Loyce!
Alexander Helios is pretty cool.

I don't know very many twins... in fact I can only think of two sets. Jennifer Lynn and Kevin Douglas, and Ashley and Jamie-Lee (girls). Can you tell that Kevin got his dad's middle name and Jenn got "something pretty"? ;)

I think Colleen & Michelle are good twin names. They have the double L but nothing else is themey or twinny. Christina & Melissa are good too. Both are pretty common (very popular 80's names) & classic, 3 syllables, end in "a" but again not themey.

Chad and Lee
Victoria and Philippa
Kaylan and Kailan :(and some triplets: Sunny, James and Jason

Are Kaylan and Kailan pronounced the same?!
vote up1
The "Kay" in Kaylan rhymes with "May", and the "Kai" in Kailan rhymes with "Sky." Way too matchy in my opinion!

I don't like any of those sib sets. I only kind of like Colleen and Jason and Colton. Bad names.
