I love Anya. I have for years. It's a beautiful name.

I have always liked this name but I have always felt it seems kind of incomplete, like it should be a nickname for a another name. Anastasia is one option for this.

I was considering using Anja for a future daughter to honor my grandmother and myself (Ana & Sanja), but I'm sticking with Ana-Sofia now. Anja is still a possible nickname.

It's super-cute. But I'd use it only as a nickname, not someone's birth name.
