Emlyn
When I bought my first name book as a kid, Emlyn was my favorite name for a girl (yes, I know it's a male name, but I thought it sounded feminine enough for a girl). It seems I was ahead of my time with the Em- trend. ;)
So, what do you think of Emlyn? Any good combo ideas?

It is a boy's name.
My family in England are all massive fans of the soccer team Liverpool, and one of their greatest players was Emlyn Hughes. He was English but his father was Welsh, hence the name.

I love Emlyn-- for a boy. I would be very sad to see it on a girl, although I know that's quite likely to happen!
My combos are
Emlyn Edward
Emlyn Peregrine
Emlyn William
Thomas Emlyn
Nothing outstanding, although I do really like Thomas Emlyn.

Are you still thinking girl thoughts? If so, I really can't help you, except by suggesting Emmeline.
I think it's so very handsome - sorry, it's all boy to me!
Maybe it's just me, but I really like boy's names that have that feminine touch eg. Jude, Emrys. I find them incredibly handsome, makes me think of a poet or writer, something out of a romance novel.

*cries Welsh tears*
*isn't Welsh, but cries for the name's dignity*....

My male cousin is called Emlyn. I've always known it to be a boys name. His dad is very Welsh though.
We also have a famous male Rugby player called Emlyn, so it seems very masculine to me!

I definately think it's feminine. I've never seen it before and I immediately thought of a girl when I saw it. I can't say I really like it. I'm not sure why. It seems a little trendy and even made up. There are a lot of names at the moment ending in lyn and beginning with Em.
I think a really girly name would go well with Emlyn, maybe:
Emlyn Willow
Emlyn Juliette
Emlyn Angelina
Emlyn Olivia
Emlyn Sakura
Emlyn Grace
