Bessie, Gladys, Daisy
Would they sound good for little girls? I associate these name with cows, and especially Gladys.Bossie could go either way, too.

I know a Gladys who is 20 and studying architecture. Seems fine to me, and not bovine at all. Bessie is rather too twee, but Bess is good. And Daisy is quite popular for humans at the moment ...

I love the name Daisy and have been liking Bessie recently too, but Gladys is still just dowdy and ugly to me. I don't think of cows straight away either. Daisy reminds me of the flowers and Bessie reminds me of a doll I had as a child called Bess!

They all sound fine on a little girl. I don't associate any of them with cows, especially Gladys. That's not a cow name to me at all.

Bessie im not a fan of but would be refreshing and charming on a baby girl today. Gladys to me still screams old lady so id say no. Daisy obviously yes.

As a sibset, this would be too much. However, I LOVE Bess (and Bessie), and Daisy's quite nice, so those are usable. Gladys just sounds old to me.

No, No, YesBessie and Gladys are overly hoary for my consideration. I have never cared for them. I like Bette and Betty, maybe even Bess. Daisy is adorable.

I think Bessie and Daisy are way too child-like. However, I *love* Gladys!

I can see Daisy on a little girl, but Bessie is a cow, and Gladys is an old lady.

Yes, No, NoAt least in how I like them.I love Bessie/Bess and always have. It's cute and it's one I have strong associations with. Gladys will always make me think of Gladys Kravitch from Bewitched so it's comical to me. Daisy is one of those that is just eh to me. It reminds me of the superificial woman of the '50s - go with the flow, don't think and make sure you have the most perfect jello mold!

LOL...My first thought when I saw the subject was "Those are what I would name a group of cows". So as a sibset, not a great choice. Bessie & Daisy are cute on their own, although I do prefer them as nicknames. Which may lessen the cow association.
Gladys - I just don't like; ever since I realized how close it sounds to Glad Ass.
