I rather like it! I've really started to love the name Douglas, which I began using to honor my step-g-pa, and I can't say I dislike Dougal. I love Scottish names so I can't say I hate this but I can't say I love it either. It's growing on me. A character in a book once was named Marjorie MacDougal so it makes me think of her and her uncle Alexandre MacDougal. :)
