Else / Elsa
I had a dream last night, in which I had a twin sister. Her name was Else (or Elsa, not sure on the spelling). Her middle name was something like Magnolia or Magenta, I'm unsure of which.
Anyway, just wondered what you think of Else / Elsa. Which spelling do you prefer? What impression do you have of the name?
Thanks!

Elsa is a little too country for my taste, but I find Elsie to be adorable. Go figure.

I love Elsa and Elsie, but Else is just wordy to me and I wouldn't use it just because, even if we (my 'husband', 'Else' and I) live in Germany, my family will still all still be in Canada speaking English and I think that'd just be a little strange.
I love both Elsie and Elsa as a nn for Eloise.

Definately Elsa. Else looks like 'Do it or else.'

Where I live both Else (EL-zə) and Elsa (EL-zah) are considered old lady names. I prefer Elisa as a short form of Elisabeth because it has a fresher and more youthful feel to it.
