I don't like the idea of twins' names that sound alike._________________________________________________

I hate them too!I don't know many twins with similar names, but two sets of twins in the one family and each set (Andre & Aysha, Zara & Xavier) having similar names. I'm lucky my name's not too similar to my (twin)brother's. He's Elliot and I'm Ashlee.

Ugh, they annoy me soo much. Elliot and Ashlee is a fine twinset, though.nth

I presume your thinking of Asian origin?? Didn't sound like they were.

Yes... and why? Many Asian parents choose Anglo names for their babies. Then again, I'm probably misunderstanding you. ;-) But I hope these parents are Asian, otherwise it's one step closer to my (paranoid?) fear of the "OMG itz IRYSH!!1!" trend being transferred to "OMG itz JAPANEES!1!!*"...*Japanese, of course, would be the only Asian language known to tryndees if this horrific trend does indeed come to pass. And that would only because of anime/manga/etc. making Japan "kewl".

*snorts* Gee, I really hope that's not the next trend...

I started fearing this potential trend when I saw Amaya skyrocket in popularity. But, like I said before, I think this fear of mine is a bit paranoid. Still... *Shivers and arms self against potential name trynd*

Well, to be fair, Amaya is a lovely name. But yes, that would be a bad trend (not that I have anything against Asian names. I don't have anything against Irish naems either, but the trend still annoys me).
