Kirsty
Just thought about this name the other day. Spunky and pretty.
WDYT of it?

I have a friend named Kirsty and she is very spunky and pretty.
It's cute, but I prefer it as a nickname for Kirsten.
I like it, but it would forever be confused with Kristy.
I don't really like it. I prefer Kirsten.
It makes me think of cheery forthright Scottish girls, because both the Kirstys I've met fitted that description. I quite like it.
I think it is an awkward name--same goes for Kirsten and all its variations. My mind immediately wants to turn the first syllable either to Krist- or Kurt-. Sorry, but I don't like it.
Awkward to say. Rhymes with thirsty. Not my cup of tea, but I do see the appeal.
The way that I say it, it doesn't rhyme with thirsty. I say it so that the vowel sound in the first syllable is the same as the sound in "weird". When we were teenagers, my sister had a friend named Kirsten, and she pronounced her name that way--the first syllable had the same vowel sound as "weird." I guess maybe that's influenced the way that I say Kirsty. I don't know which pronunciation is technically correct, or if they both are, or what, but that's the way I've always said it.
I think that pronounced the way that I do, it's less awkward, though. I like the name but don't love it---it is cute and peppy, as others have said.

Too Kirsty Alley.
But it is a cute, peppy name. Makes me think of a super smiley, blonde cheerleader jumping up and down.
