Re: Wren

Wren was my great-grandmother's maiden name. So I've always been partial to it. I love it as a fn, as is. But it could also work as a nn for Renee / Renata, Karen or Lauren / Laurentine ("-teen") / Laurentia ("lo-REN-shuh").
I've had the combo Wren Victoria / Victoria Wren in my head ever since I saw a Christmas card. It was a Victorian painting of a wren on a snowy brick wall, pecking at a red berry on a bush. It seemed so perfect.
