Addison is just plain ugly, although I would say that an ugly name is worse on a girl than on a boy.
I think that it's not a good idea to name a boy Ashley these days, when it has become so popular for girls. I think that it was somewhat effeminate to begin with, which is one reason it went over to the girls. I say the same about Courtney. A minority opinion, I realize, but it is what it is.
