I've been wondering about the pronunciation of British Ralph BAs. I hope they do pronounce them Rafe.

I hope so tooRalph pron. RALF seems frumpy, RAFE/ RAYF on the other hand is quite handsome and more legitimate to me. When l lived in England however, the pron. seemed to depend more on social class - RAYF is quite pretentious, but this is not exclusive.
