I like it and prefer it spelled Elizabeth. The S spelling makes no sense to me, since I pronounce the name with a Z sound and so does everyone I know. I've never even heard the name pronounced any other way. In other countries, I'm sure this is different, so the S spelling makes sense, but not here. It makes none, so it's very jarring to me.

I'm not overly fond of any of the nicknames, which is why I don't think I'd ever actually use Elizabeth, but if I had to pick one, Betsy, which is rather cute and has some spunk.
