WDYTO Balthasar?
I really like this name. It's one of my old favorites. I think that Balthasar and Sebastian would be a good sibset. This name holds no religious connotations for me.Do you prefer Balthasar or Balthazar?
What mns would sound good?
What do you think of the name in general?

I love it, mostly because I know someone with the name. :-)

I really like Balthasar (this spelling because it looks softer). My favorite kinds of combinations are old-fashioned, uncommon first names with more mainstream middle names, so pairing Balthasar with anything along the lines of Joseph, William, Thomas, etc. would be great, in my opinion.

I don't think Balthasar would work on a child at all. It sounds sinister to me, like it might be given to the "baddie" in a Disney film._____________________________________________________________________Elinor'Why do people with closed minds, always open their mouths?'

Isn't there a childrens programme where one of the main characters is a teddy bear called Balthasar?
I can't remember the name of it, but the puppets were made by Jim Henson's Workshop.
I like it, but I think the spelling is a bit awkward. I've spent my life spelling my surname, and I can easily imagine a child getting quite annoyed having to spell his name constantly.

Balthazar is a very neat name! I think with Sebastian it's a bit overkill, because they are quite similar in style (long, impressive, somewhat European). I prefer Balthazar, just because I think that's the spelling most people would leap to. However, it's such a showy name that it doesn't really need the Z, so I love Balthasar too.I like..

The names are nms but I think they sound nice together. Balthazar looks a bit better to me than Balthasar does.

I really like unusual names, but this one is too much for me. It is intriguing, but too over-the-top, and a bit harsh sounding. However, it's a bold move to name a kid Balthazar and I'd like to meet the parent who actually goes for it!I prefer the spelling Balthazar. I dislike it with Sebastian.

I love the name, but I prefer Baltasar and Baltazar. The H looks superfluous to me. While I don't at all like Sebastian, I agree that they'd sound nice together. Some suggestions:Baltazar Ash

Baltazar Harold
Baltazar Charles

Baltazar EricI like the idea of grounding it with a traditional middle name, but I'm not really sure what sorts of names you like, heh. I don't have any really good suggestions for middle names just now.Array
"Phineas. That's an interesting name."
"Yeah. It's Latin for 'kick me'."
