Micah was once my favourite boy name.
It's no longer my favourite, but I still adore it.
It's certainly a positive name, imo.
I prefer it to Micaiah (though I also like Micaiah) simply because it seems less Bible thumping (if that makes sense).I used to like Micah in a set with Asher and Josiah, but Josiah is too religiously tied too, I think now.

MICAH!!! Okay, squeal over. I really like Micah though. Micaiah is alright, but I think it looks more awkward. I also know a Micah, so that helps a little.

It's fine. Positive.I like Micaiah better because my buddy Micaiah would kill me if I didn't chose his name.

Both are nice names......though not my style. I think I'm leaning toward Micah today, but tomorrow might be different.

Positive and I prefer Micah by far.

Micah is one of those names I want to like, but I don't. For some reason I have a hard time imagining a grown man named Micah.

Leaning towards the negative. It sounds similar to Michael, which I dislike, and it also sounds whiny to me.

I like it for a girl, strangely. I used for the main character in my novel but didn't suit her and it was becoming popular. prefer simpler spelling.

Very positive.I love Micah. The name is sweet and handsome. It evokes a toe-headed little boy with the best "please" and "thank you" manners an "old-timer" like me could ever ask for. I like Micaiah, too, but I've always heard it pronounced "mick-HIGH-ah" (or the like). Micah seems more usable to me as a first name or a middle name. Micaiah fits the middle name slot (off-beat, quirky-ish). I would love to have two little boys named Noah and Micah. Yes, they're a bit matchy but I love it.
