I've seen Dack (also Dax) here and there. I meant maybe Jedidish is a typo in the book? Lots of books have typos in them; you come up with some funny names that way! One book I have actually has, I kid you not, Sarh instead of Sarah.

No the book SAYS Jededish, pronounced je-de-DEESH. Maybe someone once spelled Jedediah wrong and thought that "well, Jededish actually sounds beautiful".
