Kevina
It's not in the database. I am starting to think that I like it. Probably not for a person but for a character. WDYT?

I don't like Kevin and that's Kevin with an 'a' which does not make it any better for me, sorry.

I'm not overly crazy about Kevin, either, but I was assuming that Kevina would not be pronounced like Kevin with an A...that's why I said I liked it. Kevin with an A would be KE-vin-eh, and I was thinking that Kevina would be Ke-VEEN-eh. KE-vin-eh would be bad, yes, but Ke-VEEN-eh is pretty, in my opinion. If that made sense, because I'm bad at transcribing pronunciations.

Oh, I also assumed it to be pronounced ke-VEEN-ə. My problem with the name isn't sound based, I guess. Where I live, Kevin is considered THE trash name. So it's more about the image of the name. And the image of Kevina is still Kevin with an 'a' to me despite not being pronounced that way. Sorry, I didn't explain it very well before :)

It's not bad. Much better than a lot of names that are currently popular.

I think it would be fun for a character: it's really unusual, and you could invent endless backstories on how she got the name.

Sounds like parents only had a boys' name picked out and wound up w/ a girl, so they "fixed it" by adding an a. If that's your character's situation, it might work.
