Phoebus
I was recently visiting my mom in Hampton, Virginia. There is a historic neighborhood there called Phoebus, which is amazing, that used to be a town in it's own right. Would it be weird for me to five a son Phoebus as a mn to honor the town/neighborhood?

No not weird. People call their kids all sorts of things in honour of..well..all sorts of things! lol. Cities and place names included.

I was just thinking about this name the other day, because of the show Friends. Phoebe wanted Rachel to name her baby Phoebo (feebo) if it was a boy. Then I saw Phoebus while browsing names and laughed... I think it would be weird to name your son Phoebus just to honor a town/neighborhood, but using it in in general is not weird.

I really like Phoebus, though I'm not sure how well it would work on a real person.

Phoebus! He was my favorite Hunchback of Notre Dame character as a small child. Well, I fell for just about any blonde character back then.I don't think it'd be weird. Plus, it's a cool name.
