I have an aunt whose first name is Autumn, although she goes by her middle name. She's in her seventies, a feminist and a liberal. You'd never see her doing anything stripperish or even go to a Hooters. But, she's also estranged from her brothers. At their aunt's funeral in July, my dad and uncle said hi to her, and she completely ignored them, not even saying hi back. I wouldn't use it because of that association, but I'm not against it as a name. I also remember a girl my sister was in 4-H with named Autumn who was paralized in a car accident.
