I don't really like it. My name being Rachel, I can't really avoid it. The sound is just harsh to my ears and it feels awkward in my mouth when I say it. Nicknames like Rach and Rachey are terrible; Rae is alright. I like that it's classic and feminine and strong standing in society, though I feel that it's starting to date.
