Kennard or Kendrick
I can't choose between the names Kennard or Kendrick for one of my characters.
He is the twinbrother of my main character (Elvish, Royal blood, modern time, Irish & Scottish roots, live (hidden) among humans)His twinsisters name is Olivia
They have 2 older brothers named Brennus & Eamon

'Old Norse' name instead?
I was tinking maybe an Old Norse (ancient scandinavian name, or something close to that) instead of an Irish/Scottish one What about
- Hakon
- Jarl
- Torben
- Birger
- Hugo
- WernerI already names most of my characters, but there are just a few I just can't find the right name for.

I don't really think Olivia fits the sibset. But, anyway, I prefer Kendrick.

Olivia's name explainedOlivia comes from the male name Oliver
I chose this name because of these two meanings:
Alfher - Elf, Army/Warrior
&
Áleifr (see Olaf) - ancestor's descendentIt really fit's my story, She's an Elf. she comes from a long line of Elvish Royals (both from mother's side and father's side)
There is a prophecy what tells a certain descendent of a certain ancestor is meant to end a century old war between three elvish races, Olivia's is this decendent (will be explained in the story)The name is more Old Norse than the names of her brother's, this is because the mother's ancenstor's are based on Old NorseMaybe I look for a Old Norse name for the twin brother

Kennard's kinda ugly and I consider Kendrick as more of a surname, but it's at least preferable to Kennard. There are other good Ken names like Kenneth and Kent and Kenji...That being said, looking at the names inflicted on his elder bro.s, I'd say Kennard might fit.
