WDYT of Zachary?

I prefer Zachary because it is less Old Testament, sandals in the desert, and its rhythm is more light and flexible, like Timothy etc. But even though it's the one I like best of the three, I still don't like it enough to use, even on a pet reptile. It has an aura of 19th century cowboys brawling in bars.
Can't stand it. I don't like the sound/look of the name, and it's also so incredibly tired (at least where I live).
Still, out of the 3 I prefer the spelling Zachary, as I'm not really into names ending in -ias or -iah.

Not my fave. Too "saved-by-the-bell-early-to-mid-nineties-fadish" for me.
I think Zachary is nice. It doesn't hold my attention very long, but it's a nice, sturdy, masculine name :o)
I think Zacharias is kind of cool, but Zachariah doesn't do it for me. Zachary is my favourite of the three because the other two feel kind of frilly to me...

Zachary's a fine name, but its SO common on boys of all ages where I am, I can think of literally fifteen boys that I know named Zachary (almost all who are called Zach/Zak/Zack.) So because of that its really plain and boring to me. I like it nice enough though and if it wasn't so widely used where I live, I would probably like it more. Zacharias and Zachariah are not my style at all, and I have a bad association with the name Zachariah. Zacharias would be cool on the right little boy.
It is funny how popularity changes so much from place to place
I've only ever known one Zachary nn Zac and he is my age. None of my younger siblings had one in their grades or anything either. I know it has been quite common in Australia as well (not as common as the US) but apparently just not in my area.

It's okay, but I lean towards Zachariah.
Very 1990's. I like Zachariah but it seems rather trendy with the popularity of Isaiah and Jeremiah. Zacharias looks and sounds good to me but it is a mouthful. All that aside any Zach- name is liable to end up shortened to Zach/Zack/Zak/etc. I don't really care for the NN.

Sorry, but blech. To me it's obnoxiously youthful, and funny I can picture a Zachary as either very dumb (like a wooo I only like football and beer and chicks type of guy) or a nerdy socially awkward little guy who's a big jerk.
I don't like Zacharias or Zachariah, either. The Zachar- part aside, I dislike almost all -ias and -iah names. But if I had to pick the least of all evils, I'd go with Zachariah because it sounds less harsh.
