I love Gideon it fits my criteria very well. Masculine and strong name for a boy, simply and easy spelling, and a unique enough that is not terribly common but usual enough its not crazy. I love Gideon I think it ages very well, its old and biblical so I find that they tend to age pretty nice. I find that the nn. I would use would be Giddy
