Elinor/Eleanor with the nickname Nell?
This will probably be for a character, just so you know.Anyhow, to the point. I love Elinor/Eleanor, and when I saw that Nell can be a nickname for it, apparently, I thought it was darling. However - does it really work?

Love it!While I do think of Ellie or Nora as the more obvious nicknames for Elinor / Eleanor, Nell is just as legitimate and works well in my opinion. I also adore Ellen nn Nell / Nellie.

The funny thing about nicknames is that a lot of them work even when it seems like they shouldn't.Eleanor/Elinor nn Nell is classy, elegant, and ages well. I love it. :)

I think it works. It's a rather old-fashioned nickname for a classic name.Eleanor/Elinor is not a fave of mine but Nell is great. It's charming, elegant, and cute at the same time and ages well.

YES!!!!! I am all about the names that can be shortened to Nellie and I think that this is a good candidte to be a full name for Nell.
