Celebrity triplets
I don't remember seeing this here before:American baseball player/coach Mark McGwire and wife Stephanie welcomed triplet daughters Marlo Rose, Monet Rose and Monroe Rose on June 1st. Older brothers are Matthew (with ex-wife Kathlene Hughes), Max and Mason.Explaining Rose: 'McGwire said their astrological sign is Gemini, and the Gemini flower is the rose, plus he's always liked that name anyway.'

To many M's and to many Roses'. Plus the names aren't even nice. And the brothers and father are M too. Maybe the mum should change her name to Mephanie so they can all match. Ugh.

All Rose?
What a terrible flow Monroe Rose has.I'm not opposed to Monet, but the rest are pretty sad.
Marlo? Was Marlowe not cool enough?

Ugh. I understand why he wants to use Rose, but he doesn't have to use it for all of them. Of the first names, I only like Monet. Marlo and Monroe are far, far too masculine. Max, Mason, and Matthew are all right, though.

Monroe on a girl is just awful. The rest of the names are bearable though I hate alliterative sibsets.

Yikes! MonROE ROse sounds especially heinous. My b-i-l has three sisters, all of whom have the mn, Lynn. How special. ;-)This makes me sad. These parents had three opportunities to come up with some awesome names.

I love Rose, but I find the repeated use of it within a set of triplets inexcusable. Also, I don't consider Monet a first name, and Monroe is completely masculine to me. Marlo is okay.

Having Rose as the middle name for all three is a bit strange, and also means that they wouldn't feel very unique. Monroe Rose doesn't flow right at all either. I also think Marlo and Monroe are a bit too masculien and not as nice as the boys names.

None of them are bad alone, but together it's just terrible. If they HAD to go with an M theme, they definitely could have done better. Monet is kind of interesting though. Hmmm... I'm liking Monet and Gemini as a sibset. A GP sort of sibset.

Very masculine-sounding first names paired with the same middle name. A very boring middle name. How sweet. And with the older brothers' names, they are definitely taking the "M-theme" too far.Kathlene, though, is actually quite appealing...

When I read "Marlo" I thought, "Oh, that's kind of neat," and then it went way downhill after that! What a lack of creativity. And they're three separate people, for crying out loud. Ugh.
