Nereida
What does everybody think of Nereida? It's been on my mind lately. I think I'd use it as a mn. Thoughts?

I'm on the fence with Nereida, however, I'm leaning toward the 'like' side. I've actually known one woman by this name. She was from Puerto Rico and married a man with an Italian background (Angelo) and proceeded to have three beautifully-named dds (Chiara, Victoria, Sabrina). This is why I remember Nereida -- the names!
So while I don't exactly love Nereida, I certainly appreciate it and I really like its whimsical meaning.

It makes me think of nerdy on first glance... doesn't really appeal to me.
The sound is pretty, and I'm fond of the meaning and mythological background.
It's nice! Magical but simple and exotic. :D It sounds like it could be the name for a fairy in a good way. :)
