I've been teased.
A lot, actually. My name is used quite often for place names and everyone gets a big kick out of it. Drives me batty but I've learned to live with it. I even wore my Hoagie Haven t-shirt until it wore out.My brother-in-law Damian was also teased a bit for his name but he, too, learned to take it in good humor.

But maliciously?Enthrophy's talking about bullies. People teasing specifically to hurt the other person.I tease my friends. Sometimes I tease them about their names, but I don't count that because the intent isn't malicious and they know it.

I've been maliciously teased, yes.But as it has been said before: Certain kids are going to be teased no matter what and others won't. It could get malicious at some point - I would have hated to be a Monica during the Monica Lewinksy debacle - but overall? No.But there is teasing about names. Even if it's not malicious it can get tiring, believe me.
